Your Nearest Emergency Dentist To Boscombe

Boscombe has no shortage of dental practices, but very few can see you the same day you call — and fewer still are open evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Our clinic on Holdenhurst Road, a straight run west along Christchurch Road from Boscombe high street, offers exactly that: guaranteed same-day emergency appointments, every single day of the week.

There is no need to register, no paperwork and no waiting list. Whether you have lived in Boscombe for years or have just moved into the area, our doors are open. We treat every type of dental emergency — from relentless pain and infection to fractures, lost restorations and trauma — and we provide a full menu of general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry for patients who want to make us their regular practice.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Boscombe is one of the closest areas to our practice, and getting here is simple: By car — head west along Christchurch Road towards the town centre. The road becomes Holdenhurst Road as you pass through Springbourne, and our clinic is on the left near Lansdowne Roundabout. The whole journey takes around 5–8 minutes. Free on-site patient parking is available so you can pull straight in. By bus — Boscombe sits on one of Bournemouth's busiest bus corridors. The Morebus 1a, 22 and 33 all depart from or pass through Boscombe heading west towards the town centre and Lansdowne. The ride takes around 8–12 minutes depending on the service. If you are near Boscombe Bus Station, almost any westbound service will bring you within walking distance of our door. By train — Pokesdown station is the nearest rail stop to Boscombe, and from there it is a single stop to Bournemouth Station. Our clinic is a 5–7 minute walk from Bournemouth Station along Holdenhurst Road. By bicycle — it is a flat, direct ride of about 8–10 minutes west along Christchurch Road and onto Holdenhurst Road. By taxi — a cab from Boscombe high street to our practice takes around 5 minutes.

Absolutely not. We built our practice around the idea that anyone should be able to see a dentist the same day they need one, without jumping through hoops. No registration, no transfer of records, no GP referral. Call us with your name, a number we can reach you on and a sentence or two about the issue, and you are in. It makes no difference whether you currently see a dentist elsewhere, have not visited one in years, or are passing through Boscombe temporarily.

From start to finish, that is what we are set up for. Persistent throbbing pain that will not respond to painkillers, a tooth that has cracked under pressure, a filling or crown that has dropped out mid-meal, an abscess that is causing your face to swell, bleeding that will not clot after earlier treatment, or a tooth knocked out in an accident — all of these warrant an urgent appointment and all of them are things we treat daily. Call 07444 745 491, and we will schedule you in for the same day. At the practice, we will image the area, give you a straightforward explanation of the problem and start treatment immediately.

We do, at zero interest. Our 0% payment plans are designed to take the financial sting out of unexpected treatment by letting you pay in monthly instalments instead of one lump sum. Our reception team will present the options clearly during your appointment. There is no hard sell, no fine print and no obligation to decide on the spot.

A single fee of £50 covers the full emergency consultation — that includes the examination, any X-rays needed and a thorough diagnosis. Should you require further treatment during the same appointment, whether a filling, an extraction, emergency root canal therapy or another procedure, we quote it separately and get your agreement before we touch a thing. There are no surprise charges.

Many dental emergencies can be fully resolved in a single visit, but some require a second appointment — for example, completing a root canal, fitting a permanent crown, or monitoring an infection after drainage. If follow-up care is needed, we will explain what is involved, how many visits to expect and what each stage costs before you leave. You are welcome to continue your treatment with us or take our notes back to your regular dentist if you prefer. Either way, we make sure you know exactly where things stand before you walk out the door.
