Safe, gentle dental care for the whole family, with same-day appointments 7 days a week at our Bournemouth clinic.
A dental emergency at the weekend or late in the evening does not have to mean a trip to A&E or hours spent searching for an available practice. Our clinic on Holdenhurst Road is a direct bus ride or short drive from Moordown, and we are open from 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week — with same-day emergency appointments kept available throughout.
We welcome patients with or without an existing dentist and there is nothing to arrange ahead of your visit. If your tooth is throbbing, cracked, loose or knocked out, call us and we will fit you in. We also offer a complete range of routine, cosmetic and restorative dental treatments, making us a practical ongoing option for families and individuals across the Moordown, Winton, Charminster and Northbourne area.
Moordown is well connected to our Holdenhurst Road practice, and you have plenty of options: By car — head south along Wimborne Road through Winton and into the town centre. At Lansdowne Roundabout, turn onto Holdenhurst Road — our clinic is on the left. The drive typically takes 12–15 minutes, and free on-site patient parking is waiting for you when you arrive. By bus — the Morebus 13 is the most direct route. It picks up along Wimborne Road in Moordown, runs south through Winton, and passes straight down Holdenhurst Road past Lansdowne — which puts you right at our front door. The journey takes around 15–20 minutes. The 14 and 15 services also serve Moordown and connect to the town centre via alternative routes. By train — Bournemouth Train Station is a 5–7 minute walk from our clinic. If you can reach the station from Moordown — by bus, taxi or a lift — the final stretch to our practice is an easy walk along Holdenhurst Road. By bicycle — the ride from Moordown takes roughly 15–20 minutes heading south along Wimborne Road and through Charminster. The route is well-used and mainly downhill on the way in. By taxi — a cab from the Wimborne Road area of Moordown to our door takes approximately 10–12 minutes.
You do not. We keep things as simple as possible — just ring up, let us know your name, a phone number and what the problem is, and that is it. There is no sign-up process, no waiting list and no requirement to bring records from a previous dentist. Whether this is your first dental appointment in years or you saw a different practice last week, we will see you all the same.
That is our bread and butter. Agonising toothache that will not ease, a tooth that has split or fractured, a filling or crown that has come out, swelling or tenderness around the gums or jaw, an abscess, ongoing bleeding, or a tooth completely dislodged from an impact — these are the kinds of problems we deal with every day. Call 07444 745 491 and we will arrange a same-day appointment. Once in the chair, we will take X-rays, explain the situation in plain language and begin treatment immediately.
We do, and there is no interest to pay. Our 0% payment plans allow you to break down the total cost of your treatment into regular, affordable instalments. The team at the front desk will walk you through how it works during your visit — it is entirely your decision and there is never any pressure.
The consultation is £50. That one fee covers a comprehensive examination, all required X-rays and a full explanation of the problem and what we recommend. If you need treatment carried out on the same visit — such as a filling, an extraction or root canal therapy — we will provide a separate quote and wait for your approval before starting anything. Every cost is communicated upfront.
Yes, every single week. We open at 7:00 AM and our last appointments run until 11:00 PM — and that applies to Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays without exception. For Moordown residents, this means you do not have to take time off work or wait until Monday when a dental emergency happens outside of normal hours. If you need to be seen outside our standard times, call 07444 745 491 and we can still accommodate you — a call-out fee applies for out-of-hours appointments, which includes the consultation, X-rays and initial treatment.
Our reception team is on hand every day to help.
