About this clinic

Your Nearest Same-day Emergency Dentist To Branksome

Branksome sits right on the border between Poole and Bournemouth, and reaching our Holdenhurst Road clinic could hardly be simpler. A quick train from Branksome station puts you at Bournemouth station in around 10 minutes, and from there it is barely a five-minute walk to our door. We keep same-day emergency appointments available every day of the week — mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays included.

No registration is needed, no referral, and no prior relationship with our practice. If you wake up with a swollen jaw, crack a tooth at lunchtime, or develop unbearable pain at the weekend, one call gets you seen. Our team covers the full spectrum of dental emergencies and also provides general, cosmetic and restorative treatments for patients across Branksome, Branksome Park, Westbourne and Upper Parkstone who are after a practice that never turns them away because the diary is full.

Questions, answered.

Branksome is one of the best-connected areas for reaching our practice, thanks to its own railway station: By train — the fastest and easiest option. Branksome station to Bournemouth station is a direct 10-minute ride on the South Western Railway line. Step off at Bournemouth, walk 5–7 minutes along Holdenhurst Road, and you are at our clinic. Door to door, you can be with us in under 20 minutes without getting in a car. By car — head east along Poole Road through Westbourne and into Bournemouth town centre, then continue onto Holdenhurst Road. Our practice is on the right near Lansdowne Roundabout. The drive takes around 15 minutes, and free on-site patient parking is provided at the clinic. By bus — Branksome station is a stop on several major Morebus routes. The m1 and m2 both pass through Branksome heading east towards Bournemouth town centre, with the m1 continuing through to Lansdowne and beyond. Journey times to the Lansdowne area are around 15–20 minutes. Night services N1 and N2 also operate through Branksome for late emergencies. By bicycle — the ride from Branksome takes roughly 12–15 minutes heading east along Poole Road towards the town centre and Holdenhurst Road. By taxi — a cab from anywhere in Branksome to our clinic takes approximately 10–12 minutes.

No, and we would not have it any other way. There is nothing to fill out, nothing to sign and nothing to transfer from another practice. When you call, all we ask for is a name, a contact number and a short explanation of what is going on. Whether you have had the same dentist for twenty years, have recently moved to Branksome and have not found a new one yet, or have simply put it off for longer than you intended — none of that matters. We will see you.

Day in, day out — it is the heartbeat of our practice. A toothache that has escalated from mild to excruciating, a tooth that fractures or shatters unexpectedly, a filling, crown or bridge that lets go, a swelling that appears suddenly in the face or gum, an abscess that is making it impossible to think about anything else, heavy or sustained bleeding, or a tooth completely knocked from its socket — these are the problems we solve every single day. Call 07444 745 491 and we will arrange a same-day appointment. Once you are here, we X-ray the area, explain everything we find and begin treatment immediately.

Yes and there is genuinely no catch. Our 0% interest payment plans divide the cost of your treatment into regular monthly payments with absolutely nothing added. There is no credit search, no deposit, no minimum amount and no paperwork to take away. The reception team will run through the numbers at your appointment, and the decision is entirely yours.

The consultation fee is £50. one transparent charge covering a thorough examination, all X-rays and a clear, unhurried explanation of the diagnosis and recommended treatment. Anything required beyond the consultation whether a filling, extraction, root canal, temporary restoration or any other procedure — is quoted individually, discussed openly and carried out only after you give your explicit consent. You will not encounter a cost you were not told about beforehand.

It happens occasionally and when it does, we make sure you are pointed in the right direction. If your case requires specialist care beyond our scope, such as complex oral surgery, orthodontics, or treatment involving sedation, we will explain why a referral is appropriate, provide our clinical notes and X-rays, and help guide you to the right specialist. Where immediate relief is possible, we will carry out first-line treatment to manage your pain and stabilise the situation before the specialist appointment. You will never be left without a clear next step.
