Safe, gentle dental care for the whole family, with same-day appointments 7 days a week at our Bournemouth clinic.
When a dental emergency strikes, the last thing you want is to be told the next available appointment is days away. For patients in and around Iford, our Bournemouth clinic on Holdenhurst Road is a straightforward journey west along Christchurch Road, and we guarantee same-day emergency appointments every day — including Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
We accept patients without any form of registration or referral. Simply call and we will book you in. Our team regularly sees patients from Iford, Southbourne, Tuckton and the Christchurch border area for urgent treatment, and many choose to stay with us for their ongoing dental care afterwards. Alongside emergency work, we provide a complete range of general, cosmetic and restorative treatments under one roof.
Our Holdenhurst Road clinic is well connected from Iford, with several ways to get here: By car — expect the drive to take around 12 minutes. Head west from Iford Roundabout along Christchurch Road, passing through Pokesdown and Boscombe, and continue straight as the road becomes Holdenhurst Road. Our clinic is on the left just past Lansdowne Roundabout. Alternatively, you can join the A338 Wessex Way for a quicker run into the town centre during busier periods. Free on-site patient parking is available when you arrive. By bus — Iford Roundabout is served by several Morebus routes heading towards Bournemouth town centre. The 1a travels along Christchurch Road through Boscombe and into the centre, while the 22 and 33 also stop at Iford Roundabout and pass through Lansdowne, which is within walking distance of our clinic. Journey times are roughly 15–20 minutes depending on the service. By train — Pokesdown station is the nearest railway stop to Iford, about a 10-minute walk or short bus ride away. From there, a single stop brings you to Bournemouth Station, which is a 5–7 minute walk from our front door. By bicycle — the ride takes approximately 15 minutes along Christchurch Road heading west. The route is mostly flat and follows the main road the entire way. By taxi — a taxi from Iford to our clinic typically takes around 10 minutes.
There is no registration at all. You do not need to fill out any forms, transfer records or provide a referral from another dentist. When you call, we will take your name, a contact number and a brief outline of what is troubling you — that is the full extent of what is needed. First-time visitors, lapsed patients and people passing through the area are all equally welcome.
It is the main thing we do, and we are set up to handle it quickly. A tooth that will not stop aching, a crack or break from an accident, a crown or filling that has come away, an abscess causing swelling and pain, bleeding that has not stopped after treatment elsewhere, or a tooth knocked out entirely — we see every type of dental emergency. Call 07444 745 491 to secure a same-day slot. On the day, we will X-ray the area, talk you through our findings and treat the problem there and then.
Yes, and they are interest-free. Our 0% payment plans let you divide the cost of any treatment into instalments that fit your budget. Our front desk team will run through the details with you in person. You are under no obligation and you will never be pushed to commit on the spot.
A first emergency visit is £50. For that, you receive a full clinical examination, any necessary X-rays and a clear diagnosis explaining what has gone wrong and what needs to happen next. Any additional treatment — a filling, an extraction, root canal work or another procedure — is quoted separately and confirmed with you before we start. We believe in complete transparency, so you will always know the cost in advance.
