Safe, gentle dental care for the whole family, with same-day appointments 7 days a week at our Bournemouth clinic.
Getting hold of a dentist at short notice can be difficult enough in central Bournemouth, from Northbourne, it can feel even harder. Our practice on Holdenhurst Road takes that problem off the table. We are a direct bus ride south along Wimborne Road, with same-day emergency appointments available from 7am to 11pm, every day of the week including weekends and bank holidays.
No registration or referral is required, and we accept patients of all ages. If a tooth is causing you pain, if something has broken or if you simply cannot wait for a routine appointment elsewhere, call us and we will see you the same day. We also offer a full range of general, cosmetic and restorative dental treatments, giving Northbourne, Redhill, Ensbury Park and Moordown residents a reliable alternative that is open when other practices are not.
Northbourne sits on one of the most direct bus routes to our practice, and driving is equally straightforward: By car — head south along Wimborne Road through Moordown and Winton, then continue into the town centre and onto Holdenhurst Road. Our practice is on the left near Lansdowne Roundabout. The drive takes roughly 15–18 minutes depending on traffic, and free on-site patient parking is available so you can pull straight in. By bus — the Morebus 13 is the standout option. It picks up along Wimborne Road in Northbourne, runs south through Moordown and Winton, then travels directly along Holdenhurst Road through Lansdowne — putting you at our front door without a single change. The ride takes around 20–25 minutes. The 13A follows a similar path, and the 14 offers an alternative route via Kinson and Moordown. By train — Bournemouth Train Station is a 5–7 minute walk from our clinic. If you can get to the station by bus or by car — the 13 stops there on its way through — you are nearly with us. By bicycle — the ride from Northbourne takes around 20 minutes heading south along Wimborne Road and through Charminster. The route is largely downhill towards the town centre. By taxi — a cab from the Northbourne area to our door takes approximately 12–15 minutes.
You do not need to register, enrol or provide any documents whatsoever. Our booking process takes less than a minute — we ask for a name, a phone number and a short description of what is happening. That is the entire process. Whether you currently have a dentist, have recently moved to the Northbourne area, or have gone years without seeing anyone, you are welcome to call and book.
We handle them all day, every day. Constant throbbing pain that will not subside, a tooth that cracks or splits without warning, a filling or crown that suddenly falls out, swelling that is spreading through the jaw or cheek, a painful abscess, bleeding that refuses to stop, or a tooth that gets knocked out in a fall, these are the situations we exist for. Dial 07444 745 491, tell us what has happened and we will arrange a same-day appointment. At the practice, we will run X-rays, explain precisely what is going on and start treatment straight away.
Yes, with absolutely no interest attached. Our 0% payment plans are there to make sure the cost of treatment never becomes a reason to delay care. You can divide the total into monthly amounts that suit your circumstances. The reception team will outline everything clearly at your appointment — you are under no obligation and can take as much time as you need.
The first consultation is £50. For that you get a comprehensive examination, any X-rays needed to understand the problem, and a complete explanation of the diagnosis and recommended treatment. Anything beyond the consultation — whether it is a filling, an extraction, root canal therapy or a temporary repair — is priced individually, explained before we begin, and only carried out once you have given the green light. You will never face an unexpected bill.
Yes, we welcome patients of every age, from young children through to older adults. If your child chips a tooth in the playground, develops sudden tooth pain, or knocks a baby or adult tooth loose, call us and we will see them on the same day. Our team is experienced in treating children gently and calmly, and parents or guardians are welcome to stay in the treatment room throughout. For families in Northbourne, having a practice that is open 7 days a week with no registration means you always have somewhere to turn when something unexpected happens with a little one's teeth.
Our reception team is on hand every day to help.
